Lusaka - Vice – President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, announced that Khartoum will witness next week the signing of agreement on the sharing of power between the disputing parties in South Sudan State, in presence of the leaders of IGAD states. Addressing the 20th Summit of the Common Market of East and South Africa Thursday morning, Hassabo has referred to the efforts exerted by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir for bringing together the disputing patties and realizing reconciliation and peace in South Sudan, indicating that the South Sudanese parties have signed in Khartoum agreements on cease-fire and the security arrangements. Hassabo announced that Sudan will host the coming Summit of COMESA. Hassabo has underscored the importance of relying on dialogue as the best means to end violence and war and to solve differences. He appreciated the resort of the brothers in Ethiopia and Eritrea to wisdom for surpassing dispute. The Vice – President referred to the endeavor of Sudan to cooperate with the neighbors of Libya for realizing stability in Libya. He affirmed Sudan support to all the COMESA programs and to cooperate with all the member states for achieving a bright future in Africa. He also commended the roles being played by the COMESA Court of Justice and the African Development Bank Hassabo has welcomed joining of Tunisia and Somalia to the COMESA membership. Hassabo announced that Sudan will host the coming Summit of COMESA.
