Bangui, Jan. 8 (SUNA) – The President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadera, Tuesday received the Foreign Minister, Dr. Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed, who arri-ved in Bangui, to participate in the two-day ministerial meeting on the peace process in the Central African Republic, which is attended by the Foreign Ministers of CEMAC, Deputy UN Secretary General and the Commissioner of Peace and Security at the African Union. The Central African President and Dr. Al-Dirdiri have discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Touadera has expressed his concern over the developments in Sudan, affirming their keenness to support Sudan on ground that stability in Sudan is safety valve of stability at the whole region. He also lauded the role being played by Sudan for realizing peace and reconciliation in the Central African Republic in framework of the African Union’s initiative. MO
