The Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Ahmed Mohamed Adam, said that the influxes of refugees from South Sudan State into a number of Sudan states are still continuing, especially into the White Nile, South and West Kordofan and East Darfur State.
He said in a statement to SUNA that the humanitarian aid shipments are also arriving in South Sudan State and a number of states that are hosting southern refugees groups and camps.
The Commissioner indicated that the humanitarian aid is being delivered to the targeted areas in South Sudan State via the tracks of the White Nile, Al-Obeid - Bentiu, Al-Obeid - Awil, and a new track which started lately.
He appreciated the efforts of the higher committee for support to the affected people of South Sudan State, which is headed by Field Marshal Abdul-Rahman Suwaral-Dahab and supervised by the Vice - President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, in delivering services and humanitarian aid extended by national and international organizations to the affected refugees of South Sudan State.
The Commissioner for Refugees has called on the international community to help Sudan live up to its role fully in supporting the refugees coming from South Sudan.
He denied existence of any confrontations and epidemics at the refugees' communities and camps.
