The Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman has reiterated Sudan keenness to push further Sudan-Chad relations in a way that serves common interests of the two people.
Speaking at a dinner banquet organized by Chad Prime Minister, Pahimi Padacke , the Vice-President said the Sudan-Chad relations were progressing in all fields for special concern the Presidents of the two countries give to them.
Hassabo commended efforts being exerted by the Joint Sudanese-Chadian Forces, which stand as a models for security cooperation in the region, indicating that peace and stability realized the border lines was due to work of such forces.
He said he came to Chad to inaugurate GIAD exhibition in Ndjamena in which 23 companies would take part and 230 products covering agricultural and other industrial fields would be presented.
The Vice-President of the Republic said that Sudan was looking forward to reactivating trade with Chad through development of border crossings, affirming Sudan readiness to provide training opportunities in areas of introduction of technologies and microfinance.
The Chad Prime Minister, on his part, lauded the relations between Sudan and Chad , pointing out that relation of his country with Sudan is strategic.
He said inauguration of GIAD exhibition in Ndjamena would boost investment opportunities and highlight on quality of Sudanese industrial products, saying Chad is looking forward to enhancing cooperation to serve the common interests of the Sudanese and Chadian people.
