Prof. Al Dekhairi affirms AOAD concern with entrepreneurship

Beirut, October 7 (SUNA) - The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) Prof. Ibrahim Adam Al-Dekhairi,has affirmed that the partnership between Arab and international financial institutions and various organizations contributes positively to helping countries achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs). This came during his address to the closing ceremony of the training session of trainers for the program of "Training and Development of Entrepreneurs and the Establishment of Small and Medium Enterprises", which was held in Beirut, Lebanon in the presence of the Secretary General of the Union of Lebanese Banks Mr. Wissam Fattouh, the Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Chambers Dr. Khalid Mohamed Hanafy, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers Eng. Ibrahim Al-Arabi and the representative of the United Nations Industrial development Organization (UNIDO) Dr. Hamim Mohamed. Prof. Al-Dekhairi added that the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development was one of the pillars of Arab action in support of agricultural development in the Arab region through the Arab Strategy for Sustainable Agricultural Development (2005-2025), which has been updated to meet the SDGs objectives, pointing out that AOAD has given the issue of entrepreneurship, development of production chains, technology and innovation most of its attention through providing advice to entrepreneurship and get out of traditional methods without relying on the state in providing jobs or allocations. It is worth mentioning that this 4 day training session targeted more than 25 participants from the Arab Chambers and those concerned with the management of the program on the training and development of entrepreneurs.
