Ghandour and Boris Johnson Discuss Bilateral Relations
Dec.12.2017 - Foreign Minister, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour has met yesterday with his British counterpart Boris Johnson in London.The two ministers discussed the improved bilateral relations between the two countries and the continuous cooperation in all aspects under the umbrella of the strategic dialogue between Sudan and Britain which started on 2016.
The meeting discussed the economical situations in Sudan especially after the lifting of the US sanctions.
Ghandour expressed appreciation to UK for its supportive stance in lifting US sanctions on Sudan besides the contribution in making the economical forum between the two countries a success.For his part, the UK Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson pointed out to the importance of completing the Sudanese reform programme and the continuation of achieving peace endeavours.
Ghandour addressed the opening session of the Sudanese-British forum enumerating the investment potential in Sudan after lifting the US sanctions.
