Daglo Meets Norway Special Envoy to Sudan

Khartoum, Oct.28 (SUNA) – The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt-General, Mohammed Hamdan Daglo received, Wednesday, at his office, at the Presidential Palace, the visiting Norway Special Envoy to Sudan, Dr. Endre Stiansen who congratulated him on the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, in Juba. The Norwegian Envoy, n press statements, affirmed his countries support to Sudan to implement the agreement which is a genuine part of the transition process in Sudan. The Norway diplomat said the meeting touched on the contribution of his country to implement peace agreement and the current challenges facing Sudan, specially, in economic field, referring to the contribution of the international community to overcome these challenges. “The UNAMID exit from Darfur and the arrival of the UNITAMAS were also discussed” Stiansen concluded.
