Ethiopian Refugees demand their basic RightsKhartoum, Nov.8 (SUNA) – Tens of the Ethiopian refugees resident in Sudan, on Sunday, organized a protest before the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNCHR) to denounce what they described as illegal withdrawal of their identities by the Sudanese Commission for the Refugees. The protestors demanded the restoration of their basic rights represented in the identity card and the application of the Refuge’s Act. The Ethiopian refugees told SUNA that they have been in Sudan for more than 40 years, underlining that their identities were illegally withdrawn by the Sudanese Refugees Commission. IF/IF
