Prof. Tawer Receives Acting Assistant US Secretary of State

Khartoum, Sep. 29 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Prof. Siddiq Tawer, received on Wednesday at the Republican Palace, the acting Assistant US Secretary of State, Bryan Hunt, and affirmed the commitment for success of the transitional period by adherence to the charters, top of which is the constitutional document. The meeting tackled the developments at the recent Sudanese political arena and their impacts on success of the transitional period. The acting Assistant US Secretary of State has affirmed his country’s support to Sudan to ensure success of the transitional period and to boost the partnership in accordance with the constitutional document.
