Qatar condemns targeting of facilities and infrastructure in Kassala and Port Sudan
The State of Qatar has condemned the targeting of vital facilities and infrastructure in the cities of Kassala and Portsudan in the Republic of Sudan, considering it a violation of international laws and norms and a serious threat to regional security.
According to the Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed, in a statement Sunday, the State of Qatar's categorical rejection of the targeting of civilian facilities and vital infrastructure.
The Ministry reiterated Qatar's full support for the unity, sovereignty, and stability of Sudan, and its support for the brotherly Sudanese people in achieving their aspirations for development and prosperity.
