Foreign Ministry's Undersecretary receives new WFP representative in Sudan

The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, received in his office on Monday, the new WFP representative in Sudan, Mr. Laurent Bokeraw, who presented his credentials to the Acting Undersecretary. Mr. Laurent Bokera thanked the Government of Sudan for the facilities it has continued to provide to the program. He described the relationship between the government and WFP as a good partnership, affirming WFP's readiness to provide assistance in its work despite the challenges ahead.
For his part, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed his hope that Mr. Bokera would succeed in his mission in Sudan, reiterating the Government of Sudan's commitment to providing all necessary assistance to the WFP and other UN agencies to enable them to carry out their mandated duties and perform their work optimally.
