Al-Burhan to Al-Fashir IDPs: Your Case Is a Top Priority for the Government
Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, visited IDP shelters in Al-Dabba, Northern State, on Saturday to assess the services provided to displaced persons from Al-Fashir.
He highlighted the spirit of social solidarity in Sudanese society and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing IDPs’ issues and enabling them to live with dignity. Al-Burhan instructed all relevant government bodies to provide essential services to the displaced and remove obstacles preventing them from leading normal lives, noting the suffering and violations they endured at the hands of terrorist militias in Al-Fashir.
