Prime Minister Meets Moroccan Ambassador to Sudan

Prime Minister Kamil Idris met today, Thursday, with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Moroccan Ambassador to Sudan Mohamed Maâ El-Ainin, at his office in Khartoum.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister’s advisors, Nizar Abdullah Mohammed and Ambassador Badr Eddin Al-Jie'ai'fri, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Maawia Othman Khalid.
The meeting addressed the Sudanese issue and the growing understanding it is receiving in international forums, alongside ongoing efforts to rebuild the capital, Khartoum, and facilitate the return of Sudanese citizens from abroad, which has already begun.
Ambassador Maâ El-Ainin told the press that the meeting also discussed bilateral relations between Sudan and Morocco at both official and popular levels, noting that ties between Khartoum and Rabat go back centuries. He highlighted the importance of the return of diplomatic missions to Khartoum and expressed his pleasure at the return of the Government of Hope to the capital, praising its activities and achievements over the past period.
