Sovereignty Council President directs to provide necessary facilities for Sudanese Sugar Company

Khartoum, Nov. 15 (SUNA) - President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has got acquainted with the challenges and obstacles facing work of the Sudanese Sugar Company. This came when His Excellency met in his office today Engineer Batoul Abbas Awad, the acting Minister of Industry. The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council underscored the importance to provide the necessary support and technical and logistical facilities to develop and create the work environment in the project and to overcome obstacles and challenges that hinder the progress of work. Al-Burhan pointed to the importance of developing effective solutions so that the company returns to its first course, praising the emergency plan approved by the company's board of directors regarding the operation of sugar factories and solving urgent and immediate problems. For her part, Eng. Batoul Abbas explained in a press statement after the meeting that the Sugar Company is facing financial challenges and obstacles in the current season, noting that the President of the Sovereignty Council promised to overcome all obstacles to enable the company to live up to its role in boosting the country's economy.
