Foreign Minister Receives Congratulatory Messages from Saudi and Ethiopian Foreign Ministers, AUC Chairperson

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddig, has received congratulatory messages from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Gedion Timotheos, and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, on the occasion of assuming his new position.
In his message, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed his sincere congratulations to Minister Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddig, wishing him success in performing his new duties. He affirmed his aspiration to work with the Minister to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
For his part, Gideon Timotheos expressed his readiness to cooperate and coordinate with the Minister on various issues of mutual interest, in a manner that strengthens neighborly relations and joint regional interests.
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission also sent a congratulatory message to the Minister, expressing his confidence that his appointment to this position reflects the competence and trust he enjoys. He affirmed the African Union's support for Sudan in its efforts to achieve peace, support national dialogue, and complete the transitional phase, leading to the organization of free elections that will lead to political stability and security in the country.
