Foreign Minister Receives New UNHCR Country Director in Sudan
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim, on Thursday received in his office the newly appointed Country Director of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) Office in Sudan, Marie-Hélène Verney, who presented her credentials to assume her duties.
The Minister conveyed the Government of Sudan’s welcome and wished her success in her mission, expressing hope for strengthened cooperation and coordination between UNHCR and the Government and people of Sudan.
