Sudanese Saudi Summit Held in Riyadh

Riyadh, Oct. 6 (SUNA) – The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, Sunday held an official sitting of talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz. Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan has expressed Sudan appreciation of the stances of Saudi Arabia and its keenness to support Sudan security and stability. At outset of the talks, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has wished durable stability and prosperity in Sudan. The two sides have reviewed progress of the fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples and ways to boost the cooperation between Sudan and Saudi Arabia in all fields. The Sudanese side at the joint talks included the Foreign Minister, Asma Mohamed Abdalla, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badawi, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Madani Abbas Madani, the Director of the General Intelligence, Lt. Gen. Abu-Bakr Hassan, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Gen. Mohamed Ali, and Sudan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdul-Azim Al-Karrouri. The Saudi side included the Prince of Riyadh Area, Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz, the State Minister, Member of the Council of Ministers and Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Dr. Muttab bin Abdul-Aziz, the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz, the State Minister and Member of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Massad bin Mohamed Al-Ayban, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Assaf, the State Minister for the African Countries’ Affairs, Ahmed bin Abdul-Aziz Qattan, and the Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Gaafar.
