Khartoum, Oct.15 (SUNA) – Foreign Minister, Asma Mohammad Abndulla recived, at her office, Tuesday, the Egyptian Ambassador to Khartoum, Hossam Issa who congratulated her on the occasion of assuming office. The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the support to be extended to Sudan by the international community during the transitional period. The Ambassador affirmed his country’s support to Sudan and its desire to strengthen cooperation with Syudan in all fields, as well as, the coordination of stances and exchange of support in the international forums. He said his country will continue supporting Sudan , especially, in strategic projects, referring to the completion of the first phase of the For the 4 million-dollars power connection project. He pointed out that Egypt will dispatch medical teams to the rains and floods affected areas. The Egyptian diplomat reviewed the Egyptian Initiative on the Development Dam, stressing the necessity for the coordination between Sudan, Egypt And Ethiopia to find solution that will benefit the three countries. The meeting also discussed the problems facing The Sudanese students uin Egypt. IF/IF
