Acting FM Meets the UNHCR Representative
Khartoum, Nov.22 (SUNA) – The Acting Foreign Minister, Omar Gamar Edeen met, Sunday, at his office, the Representative of the United Nations High Commission (UNHCR), in Sudan, Axel Bisschop. The UN official explained the critical situations of the Ethiopian refugees in Eastern Sudan, adding that the UNHCR exerts utmost efforts to shelter them and provide them with the basic needs. The minister, on his part, appreciated the great role being played by the UNHCR, affirming Sudan’s support to the UN organization to make it a success in its mission. The situations of the Sudanese refugees in Niger was also, discussed. IF/IF
