Khartoum, April 15 (SUNA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mariam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi held today a virtual meeting with the Ambassadors of Arab countries accredited to Sudan. The minister congratulated at the outset of the meeting the ambassadors on the advent of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, voicing thanks on the congratulatory messages she received from her Arab counterparts on the occasion. Dr. Al-Mahdi briefed the ambassadors of sisterly Arab countries on developments in Sudan and the efforts being exerted by the transitional government concerning economic reforms and the ongoing preparations for the Paris Conference, scheduled for the 17th. of next May to introduce the new Sudan to the world. The Minister of Foreign Affairs also presented a briefing on the developments of the file of the Renaissance Dam, where she explained Sudan’s stance calling for reaching a binding legal agreement on the filling and operation of the Dam. The Arab ambassadors, on their part, affirmed unlimited support by the Arab countries to Sudan as part of their support to the democratic transition in the country. BT/BT
