Al-Burhan: writing off French debts opens doors for indebtors and supporters

Khartoum, May 17 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdel Al-Fattah Al-Burhan has expressed has expressed Sudan appreciation to the French government for hosting Paris Conference on Sudan and the initiative of President Emmanuelle Macron for writing off its debts to Sudan. Al-Buran said in the joint press conference, held in the conclusion of the conference, with President Macron and the Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdouk that the cancellation of the French debts will open the door for the debtors and supporters. He thanked all the regional and international partners and Sudan true friends to complete the commitments, renewing Sudan’s readiness to cooperate and respond to the requirements for opening the door for the investors and the financial institutions.
