Volker: signing of UNITAMS Status Agreement Facilitates the mission assignments
Khartoum, July 4 (SUNA) – The Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, the Chairman of the United Nations Integrated Transitional Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS), Volker Perthes hs outlined that the signing of the UNITAMS Status Agreement will facilitate the mission's work more than it was previously. “This is important moment in our presence in Sudan, I thank the government and the people of Sudan for the good hospitality” Volker said. He underlined that the mission works for all the Sudanese, adding that through the agreement the partnership between the two sides can be expanded. IF/IF
