TSC President appoints new Police Chief
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, on Wednesday issued a decree appointing General (Police) Amir Abdel-Monem Fadl as Director General of the Police Forces.
The TSC President also appointed Lt. Gen. (Police) Al-Tahir Mohamed Al-Balloula as Deputy Director General and Inspector General of the Police Forces.
TSC President directed the Ministry of Interior and the relevant authorities to implement the decree.
Earlier, TSC President had issued a decree relieving General (Police) Khalid Hassan Mohy-Eddin from his post as Director General of the Police Forces, and his deputy Lt. Gen. (Police) Mohamed Ibrahim Awadallah.
