After Recapturing Bara, Sudanese Army Vows to Continue until Country is Freed from Militia
On Thursday, the Sudanese army and its allies regained control of the town of Bara in North Kordofan from the Rapid Support Forces following fierce battles. In a statement, the army spokesperson’s office said: “We announce today that your forces have entered the town of Bara with determination, resolve, and capability, cleansing it from the filth of the outlaws.”
The statement affirmed that the armed forces, in all their components, remain steadfast in their mission to achieve victory “step by step, phase by phase, until Sudan is completely purged of the militia, mercenaries, and collaborators.”
