Al-Burhan, Al-Sisi Hold Bilateral Talks at Al-Ittihadiya Palace – Exploring Prospects for Sudan-Egypt's Joint Cooperation
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Wednesday for an official visit. He was received at Al-Ittihadiya Palace by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, where the two leaders held a session of bilateral talks.
The discussions reviewed the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen joint cooperation in various fields, in addition to the latest developments in Sudan and issues of mutual interest.
The talks underscored the depth and strength of the longstanding relations between Sudan and Egypt, and the importance of consolidating, enhancing, and advancing them in a manner that serves the joint interests of the two brotherly nations and peoples.
TSC President is accompanied, during the visit, by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim, and Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
