Foreign Minister of Foreign meets UN Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim, met with the United Nations Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Mr. Guang Cong.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the situation in the Horn of Africa, affirming that cooperation and partnership between Sudan and the United Nations constitute a fundamental pillar for promoting peace, stability, and development.
The meeting reviewed key areas of coordination between Sudan and the United Nations in a way that strengthens the sustainability of security in the Horn of Africa region.
The meeting was attended by Sudan’s Ambassador to Cairo, Emad-Eddin Mustafa Adawi, the Director General of the General Directorate of African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Al-Sadiq Elias and the Minister’s Office Director, Ambassador Al-Hadi Siddig.
