We Came with Sincere Intention and Open Heart to Make Peace

Juba, Oct.15 (SUNA) - Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Head of the governmwent delegation for the peace negotiations, Lit.Gen. Mohamad Hamdan Dag-lo, met on Tuesday,with the President of South Sudan State, Salva Kiir Mayardit, in presence of the Advisor of South Sudan President for Security Affairs and head of the mediation com-mittee, Tut Galwak. Lt. Gen. Daglo metalso in the Presisdential Palace in Juba the mediation committee for the peace talks between the government and the armed struggle factions. Daglo thanked the people and the government of the State of South Sudan for hosting and sponsoring the Sudanese peace talks and the good arrangements for the negotiations re-presented in the large international and regional presence during the inaugural sitting of the talks. He affirmed Sudan commitment to Juba Forum for hosting the peace talks between the governmemt and the armed struggle factions, stressing that Sudan delehation has come with sincere intention and open heart to reach a comprehensive peace agreement. He praised the good preparations made by the mediation, pointing out that the government delegation will work with the mediation to reach arrangements for resuming dialogue with the armed struggle factions which he described as an integral part of the Sudanese revolution. He said that the government delegation is ready to reach a comprehensive agreement that will end the war. ‘’We will soon celebrate peace in Juba and bid farewell to the damned war’’ He concluded.
