Al-Burhan meets delegation of Coordination Council of Center

Khartoum, Dec. 28 (SUNA) - President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has met a delegation of the Higher Coordination Council for the Center, where the delegation affirmed their support for the Armed Forces in safeguarding the security and sovereignty of the country. Head of the Higher Coordination Council for the Center, chieftain (nazir) of Al-Hassanyah tribe, Habani Yusuf Habani, said in a press statement that the delegation included the native administrations, sufi sects and a number of actors in the community of the central states. He pointed out that that the aim of the meeting is to emphasize the support of the Higher Coordination Council for the Center for the measures taken by Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, on October 25, affirming the council’s support for formation of an independent government of competencies, in order to complete the remaining tasks of the transitional period, leading to the elections stage.
