Government: 20 killing of 50 and injury of 50 civilians in Al-Obeid jail and hospital, in a attack by rebel militia drones, is a full-fledged war crime
Minister of Culture and Information and government spokesman Khalid Al-Aiser said that the targeting of Al-Obeid prison and the city hospital by the criminal Daglo family militia, backed by the Abu Dhabi government, on Saturday morning using drones, which resulted in the death of 20 inmates and the injury of 50 others, all civilians, is a full-fledged war crime. He added, "What happened in Al-Obeid prison is a full-fledged war crime, adding to the militia and its supporters' long record of violations against Sudanese civilians." He continued, in a statement, "We condemn this terrorist act in the strongest terms, and we pray to Allah Almighty to accept the martyrs with His vast mercy and grant the wounded a speedy recovery."
