TSC President Receives Message from Gambian President

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received an oral message from President of the Republic of Gambia, Adama Barrow, concerning the support and development of bilateral relations.
The message was delivered during a meeting at his office on Thursday with Gambian National Intelligence Agency Director Othman Sow, in the presence of the Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
President Barrow affirmed his country’s support for peace in Sudan, wishing the Sudanese people continued security and stability.
The meeting also addressed the trajectory of Sudan–Gambia relations and joint coordination between the two countries’ security agencies in combating terrorism and tackling the issue of mercenaries, as well as their impact on regional stability. Discussions further covered coordination to support the interests of both countries in regional and international forums.
