Foreign Minister Meets Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim, received Sunday at his office the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Mashari Al-Dhafiri. The ambassador briefed the minister on Kuwait’s substantial support to Sudan, including 35 aircraft and three ships, and noted that Kuwait signed an agreement with the Sudanese Red Cross Society to provide $2 million in health aid.
The Kuwaiti ambassador reaffirmed his country’s support for Sudan’s legitimate state institutions and condemned, in a formal statement, violations committed by the rebellious Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in El-Fashir.
Minister Salim praised Kuwait’s significant humanitarian and health-sector support, describing it as a reflection of the sincere fraternal relations between the two peoples. He highlighted Kuwait’s pivotal role in Sudan’s reconstruction projects and emphasized the importance of continued joint coordination for the benefit of both countries.
