Minerals Minister Participates in Ministerial Meeting at Opening of Intel Mining Conference in Riyadh

Minister of Minerals Nour Al-Daim Taha, representing the Government of the Republic of Sudan, took part today in the meeting of Minerals Ministers at the outset of the fifth edition of the 3-day International Mining Conference in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The Minister of Minerals affirmed that the conference serves as an important platform for strengthening regional and international cooperation in the mining sector. He noted that it provides direct opportunities to engage with investors and stakeholders from around the world, underscoring that Sudan possesses diverse mineral resources that constitute a fundamental pillar for driving economic development and attracting quality investment.
The International Mining Conference features broad participation, bringing together representatives of governments from more than 100 countries, around 70 international organizations and business federations, as well as leading figures in the global mining industry.
Participants are discussing the future of minerals and ways to enhance the sustainability of the mining sector, contributing to comprehensive economic and social development at both regional and international levels.
