TSC Member Dr. Nuwara Reviews Sudanese Red Crescent Society Plans and Programs

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir, reviewed the plans, programs, and projects of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, along with its recent achievements and the most salient impediments anticipated to impact its operations in the forthcoming phase.
This came during her meeting on Tuesday with the Society’s President, Abdelrahman Bilal Al-Eid, where Dr. Nuwara reaffirmed the TSC’s commitment to supporting the Society and removing all impediments hindering the fulfillment of its humanitarian mandate.
For his part, the President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society expressed his appreciation for the TSC Member’s sustained support for the Society’s programs and activities. He stated: “We will strive to achieve further progress and elevate the Society’s standing as a leading actor in voluntary humanitarian work in Sudan. We will also move forward with implementing several developmental and relief projects currently awaiting donor funding.”
