TSC Vice President Meets Director General of Police Forces

Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Malik Agar, praised the vital roles played by the Police Forces in the post-war phase, including maintaining community security, reinforcing the authority of the State, and contributing to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of war-affected areas.
During his meeting at his office on Tuesday with the Director General of Police Forces, General (Police) Amir Abdel-Moneim Fadl, Agar stressed the importance of applying modern technologies in police systems, civil defense, and crime control in all its forms. He further highlighted the need to intensify efforts to establish security as a prerequisite for the return of citizens to their homes.
For his part, the Director General of Police Forces explained that the meeting came within the framework of his official visits after assuming his new post, noting that he had received directives regarding police performance and arrangements for maintaining security across the country. He affirmed the commitment of the Police Forces to ensuring a safe environment, particularly in Khartoum State, to facilitate the return of citizens. He pointed out that the meeting also reviewed the ongoing security arrangements in the stable states and the role of the Police Forces in protection, reconstruction, and crime prevention.
