Prime Minister Praises Teachers’ Role in Nation-Building
Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris on Monday praised the pivotal role of teachers in nation-building, citing their efforts in nurturing generations, instilling national values, and spreading knowledge across society.
The Prime Minister made the remarks during a phone call with his former teacher, Omar Haj Al-Toum, who taught him at Al-Nasr and Al-Ahliyya Intermediate Schools.
Dr. Kamil Idris expressed his deep gratitude for the knowledge and guidance provided by his teacher and colleagues, affirming that their contributions laid the foundation for his achievements. Former teacher Haj Al-Toum, for his part, voiced his joy and pride at the Prime Minister’s gesture, describing it as a noble act of loyalty and recognition of the teacher’s role.
