TSC President Receives Written Message from Egyptian President
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, received on Wednesday a written message from Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi on bilateral relations and ways of strengthening them in all fields.
The message was delivered by Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan, Hani Salah, in the presence of Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin.
The Egyptian Ambassador said the meeting discussed boosting bilateral ties, regional and international issues of common concern, and extended an official invitation from President Al-Sisi to Al-Burhan to attend the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on November 1. He further stressed Egypt’s continued efforts to support Sudan’s stability, defend its sovereignty, coordinate on Nile water issues, and launch reconstruction projects.
